ONE SEXY SALAD-EATER: Presidential niece Lauren Bush has been named "sexiest vegetarian alive" by the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals, beating out Pamela Anderson and Kelly Osbourne. (Male winner: Josh Hartnett - and over Jude Law!)
Bush, a 19-year-old model, has been seen with David de Rothschild, 25, of "those Rothschilds" and invited to frolic on the family estate in England. She's studying fashion in London before returning to Princeton.
WHO YOU CALLIN' A NO-SHOW? TV mob princess Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who plays Tony Soprano's daughter Meadow on the hit HBO drama "The Sopranos," wed her manager, A.J. Discala, in a ceremony last week in New York, reports E!Online. And though Sigler's TV mom, Edie Falco, turned out for the ceremony at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, James Gandolfini was a no-show, reports The New York Post.
GAP GOES FOR THE GAP-TOOTHED GAL: Madonna will be the new face for Gap's fall multimillion-dollar ad campaign. A Gap's spokeswoman would give few details on the campaign, set to break July 28, other than to say it also features hip-hop star Missy Elliott.
MAYBE SHE'LL APPEAL TO THE SUPREME COURT: Results of breath tests taken from pop singer Diana Ross can be used as evidence in her case, a judge has ruled. Ross, 59, faces three drunken driving-related charges in Tucson City Court after being stopped by police on Dec. 30. She has pleaded innocent. The trial is scheduled to begin Sept. 9. Her lawyer, Stephen Paul Barnard, said he'll appeal the decision. In June, Barnard sought to have the breath test results tossed out, arguing that police didn't have a search warrant and intimidated Ross. Ross testified that although she took a breath test, she was coerced and felt intimidated when an officer asked her to take more tests later.
JOHNNY CASH NEVER DID THAT! Rascal Flatts frontman Gary LeVox says he knew the band was pushing the envelope a little bit with its sexy new video for "I Melt," but he never expected this much fuss. Shot in Miami's South Beach area, the video shows a brief glimpse of guitarist Joe Don Rooney's bare backside and revealing shower and bedroom shots of a female model. The Great American Country channel has refused to air it, and viewer response at Country Music Television has been mixed. On CMT's Web site, some viewers give the video a thumbs up while others question the band's moral and religious convictions. Nudity is a rarity in country music videos. But LeVox said the content is no racier than daytime soap operas and suits the sensual nature of the song. "I didn't think it would be that big of a deal," he said. "I guess it's a little taboo for our genre of music, but we're happy with the way it turned out. The song is very sensual, and we wanted the video to show that." Rascal Flatts was named the Academy of Country Music's top vocal group this year. Their hits include "Love You Out Loud" and "These Days."
GRAHAM SEWS UP KENTUCKY: Bluegrass singer Ralph Stanley is lending his voice to the presidential campaign of Sen. Bob Graham. Stanley will perform a series of concerts for the Florida Democrat's campaign beginning today at the Coffee Pot club in Roanoke, Va. Stanley, 76, has recorded nearly 200 albums in his 50-year career. He won a Grammy Award for his performance of "O Death" on the "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" soundtrack.
