Rothschild bank names new North America heads Mon Aug 13, 2007 11:01 AM ET
LONDON, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Rothschild [ROT.UL] has appointed two senior bankers as co-heads of investment banking for North America, the bank said in a memo seen by Reuters on Monday.
David Resnick, formerly head of restructuring, and Christopher Lawrence, who was a managing director, will take up the newly created positions, a Rothschild spokesman said.
Resnick and Lawrence will work closely with the bank's M&A chief and the head of restructuring.
The reshuffle announced internally on Friday at one of the world's largest privately owned banks occurs as the U.S. subprime crisis continues to cause problems for a growing number of financial services institutions.
