UK inquest into Egypt blast dead

The inquests into the deaths of eight Britons killed in bombings in the Egyptian resort Sharm al-Sheikh last month have been opened and adjourned.
A date for the full hearings has yet to be fixed.

Almost 70 people are thought to have died in the 23 July blasts, but officials say the toll could rise to 88. Three Britons are still missing.

Three bombs ripped through the Red Sea resort - outside two hotels and a market - shortly after 0100 local time.

Chelmsford Coroner's Court named the dead Britons as:

* David Sayer, 16, from Grantham
* Charith Jayawardena, 17, from Grantham
* Matthew Fulham, 17, from Hinckley, Leicestershire
* Lesley Ayers, 50, from Basildon
* Jeremy Lakin, 28, from London
* Keri Davies, 27, from Fareham, Hampshire
* Annalie Vickers, 31, from Eastbourne
* Hannah Lloyd, 16, from Evesham
