At least 90 rockets were fired at Israel and landed throughout the North on Saturday morning and afternoon. 15 rockets landed in and around Nahariya alone, and three buildings sustained damage in various rocket attacks. Three people were lightly wounded and evacuated to a hospital.
Earlier, one man was lightly wounded by shrapnel was also evacuated to a hospital in Nahariya, while five people suffering from shock were treated at the scene, Magen David Adom reported.
Rockets also landed near Tiberias. One woman, who suffered from shock, was evacuated to Poria Hospital. Damage to at least one building was reported.
In rocket barrages earlier Saturday afternoon, two Katyushas landed in a residential neighborhood in a Galilee community, causing damage but wounding no one.
Five other rockets landed in open territory. No wounded or damage was reported. Earlier, three rockets landed harmlessly in Safed. At least 40 rockets were fired at Israel on Saturday.
Deputy Commander of the Northern Command, Brig.-Gen. Alon Friedman, said on Saturday that the missiles fired at Afula on Friday by Hizbullah were not Iranian Fajr-5s, as originally reported, but an older Syrian-made model.
