Huge sections of Baghdad lost power earlier Thursday, after a series of explosions went off for nearly 15 minutes on the outskirts of the Iraqi capital. It now appears the entire city has lost electricity. It's the first widespread outage in Baghdad since the U.S.-led war started two weeks ago. U.S. military commanders say allied forces hadn't attacked the power syste, and they don't know why the lights went out. A lengthy power outage would disrupt the water supply and sewage systems.
