Hamas spokesmen said Abdullah Nabhan was killed during a helicopter strike on the Jabalya refugee camp, north of Gaza. The Ha'aretz news service said the attack targeted members of a cell firing homemade rockets. Four other Palestinians, including two Hamas militants and two Palestinian Authority policemen, were also killed Saturday in separate Gaza incidents. The militants were slain during an Israeli incursion south of Beit Hanoun, when troops opened heavy tank fire on their position. The soldiers had been trying to demolish the home of a militant who was killed in an earlier incident when he tried to leave from a rocket launch site, Ha'aretz said. A pilotless Israeli surveillance plane reportedly fired rockets at a group of Palestinian Authority policemen in Khan Younes, south of Gaza, killing two. The toll on the 11th consecutive day of Israeli incursions into Gaza increased the death toll among Palestinians to more than 100. Israel says the operation is designed to stop militants from firing rockets into Israel.
