Four Israeli bulldozers, backed by ten Israeli armored vehicles, thrust early on Wednesday morning the She’out neighborhood, just close the Palestinian-Egyptian borders, under a barrage of heavy gun fire, Palestinian security sources said. The same sources added that the Israeli troops began bulldozing the houses of Palestinian inhabitants Nemr Barhoum, Atiya Barhoum, Turky Al-sha’er, Mahmoud Abu Zuhri, Yousef Al-sedoudy and Mahmoud Kabaja. Eyewitnesses told IPC correspondent that the Israeli troops also razed nearby arable lands owned by the families of Abu Tlaikh and Al-Bardaweel. Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces continued yesterday bulldozing of arable Palestinian-owned lands in the Beit Hanoun city in the Gaza Strip. Local Palestinian sources said the Israeli troops, accompanied by bulldozers, began bulldozing vast areas of lands in the Abu Safiya neighborhood. Over the past few days Israeli troops invaded Beit Hanoun and started a massive offensive by killing seven civilians, demolishing several houses and bulldozing thousands of acres of arable Palestinian-owned lands. In Nablus governorate, Israeli occupation forces demolished two Palestinian homes owned by the families of Khalfa and Hamdan which are located in the Yasmina neighborhood, an outskirt of the old city of Nablus. Also, Israeli troops arrested yesterday overnight eight Palestinian civilians from the Askar refugee camp after invading the camp under heavy random shooting. In the meantime, the Jenin city was invaded yesterday by a large Israeli occupation force under heavy gun fire. The shooting was concentrated in the streets of Jenin-Hayfa and Jenin-Al-Nasera, where a Palestinian civilian was at least injured and several Palestinian-owned houses damaged due to the Israeli fire. The Palestinian village of Beit Foriek, near Nablus, was placed yesterday under a tight Israeli curfew as dozens of Israeli tanks and armored vehicles invaded the village. Atef Hannany, Mayor of Beit Foriek, was reported as saying that the Israeli troops stormed the village from different directions and broke into the village’s mosque and vandalized furniture inside including copies of the holy Quran, religious books as well as a personal computer. Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces further tightened the curfew imposed on the Hebron city, south of Jerusalem.
