Friends Of Al-Hussayen Relieved

Friends of Sami Omar Al-Hussayen breathed a sigh of relief Thursday as he was acquitted on his most serious charge--fostering terrorism.
Dr. John Dickenson, Al-Hussayen's former professor, says he is thrilled with the verdict.

"I think this has been a long ordeal for he and his family and I look forward to hearing the moment that he's back with his family," Dickenson said.

Al-Hussayen's friends say they hope he can stay in this country long enough to finish his doctorate, a degree he has continued working on even during his incarceration.
