According to the IDF's account, four Palestinian militants approached greenhouses near Netzarim, opened fire on Israeli troops and then threw a grenade, before they were shot. Palestinian security officials said the Israeli military told them three militants were killed in the attack. In another incident, Palestinian militants fired two homemade Qassam rockets at an Israeli settlement in northern Gaza overnight but caused no damage or injuries, IDF said.
