The telephone poll of 1,004 people between November 16 and 18 showed that 51 percent supported the bombing as the Taliban forces collapse in the face of a ground offensive by the Northern Alliance. It said 29 percent of people believed the U.S. bombing campaign against the Taliban was not justified. www.reuters.com
