France's Le Pen, de Villiers urge Chirac to quit
Sun May 29, 2005 9:29 PM BST

PARIS (Reuters) - French far-right leader Jean-Marie Le Pen and eurosceptic Philippe de Villiers urged President Jacques Chirac to quit on Sunday after television projections showed France had rejected the European Union constitution.

Chirac said before the referendum that he would not quit after the vote. But Le Pen called on Chirac to "draw the normal consequences".
