We will deliver it," Blair said. === • Blair said he believes "with every fiber of instinct and conviction I have" that the United States and Britain were justified in leading the war on Iraq. He sought to draw links between Iraq and the ongoing war on terrorism, and said Britain will stand with the United States in "this fight for liberty." === • The greatest threat to the world, he said, is the "new and deadly virus" known as terrorism. Free nations must rally around the idea of liberty because terrorists seek the "elimination of tolerance." === • Blair praised President Bush for the U.S.-backed road map to peace, saying, "What the president is doing in the Middle East is tough, but right." === • Terrorism will not be defeated without peace in the Middle East between Israelis and Palestinians, Blair said, noting, "Innocent Israelis suffer. So do innocent Palestinians. " === • The United Nations Security Council should be reformed, Blair said, adding that the world needs "a new international regime on the nonproliferation of weapons of mass destruction." === • Blair said America must listen as well as lead, adding, "Members of Congress, don't ever apologize for your values. Tell the world why you're proud of America."
