A ministry statement read out on state television said three militants were killed on Tuesday while police shot dead seven on Wednesday after two suicide car bombs exploded in Riyadh. The kingdom is battling a 19-month wave of violence by militants linked to Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda network. The television named nine of the militants, who included Sultan Bejaad al-Oteibi -- on a list of 26 most wanted militants issued by the kingdom last year. Security forces have now killed or arrested 18 of those on the list. State television showed graphic pictures of bloodied corpses, many missing limbs and with disfigured faces. On Tuesday, Saudi security forces killed one militant and injured another in a shootout in Riyadh. Early Wednesday, another militant was killed after he lobbed a hand grenade from his car at police. Later on Wednesday, police raided a house in Riyadh, killing seven militants officials said were linked to the two car bombs which exploded near the Interior Ministry and a security forces center in Riyadh.
