The incident occurred after Palestinian youths clashed with Israel Defense Forces at a separation fence work site during the day, the Ha'aretz news service reported. When about 200 youths arrived at the scene Wednesday evening and began throwing rocks at troops. The soldiers responded by firing rubber bullets and tear g as, but later begin firing live ammunition into the air, Ha'aretz said. Medics said the victims, 14- and 15-year-old cousins, died from chest and facial wounds. Tawfeek Abu Khousa, a PA ministry of interior spokesman, told reporters the incident "shows (Israel) is not serious at all in implementing the signed agreements and understandings."
