NewsMine war-on-terror iraq dissent protests oct26-protest Viewing Item | Firenancy reply National Public Radio constantly misrepresents the peace movement, as all mainstream media does. I don't even care about the numbers. I see low numbers, or ignored numbers all the time by G.E. funded media like FOX and NPR. The numbers aren’t the main point.
Where does she get the idea that somebody at the protest supports Bush and wants to increase sanctions? She must have made that up, or worked hard to find an opinion like that, if she actually heard it at all. And she lied about what the protest organizers felt. This is merely incompetent journalism; these are lies with an agenda.
You are correct; I do need to rephrase the demand. I need to put pictures of dying Iraqi children where she quotes the protesters as wanting "increased sanctions."
This country is one terrorist attack away from losing the Constitution and becoming the global Nazi empire, and this is our last stretch of the fight. Its almost lost, and I think it is lost. I think the peace movement should go to Canada before we are rounded into the internment camps, which are CURRENTLY being prepped for hundreds of thousands of "non-patriots." Will Nancy Marshall report on the internment camps, which you can drive to, and see for yourself? Which currently are running training exercises to round up dissent? If Nancy Marshall covers this, a real story unlike the usual NPR dribble, then I will drop the whole campaign and start a cheersnancy.org campaign.
Maybe if there was better journalism in 1930s Germany, we could have avoided WWII. It’s our final chance to avoid World War 3. She lied for the political agenda of supporting an evil empire. I'm not sure how you are so forgiving. Maybe if somebody you cared about were recently killed, detained or bombed by the United States or FBI, maybe you wouldn’t be so forgiving.
