Lynch withdraws cooperation for movie LOS ANGELES, Aug. 7 (UPI) -- Army Pfc. Jessica Lynch has reportedly pulled out of a proposed deal with NBC for a television movie about her ordeal during the war in Iraq. The New York Times said the Thursday decision followed by just one day an agreement between network executives and Lynch that would have paid her an undisclosed fee for her participation in the movie, which is due to start production in two weeks. But the Times said Lynch family members scuttled those plans Thursday, announcing they want her authorized story told first in a book to be published before the end of the year. NBC executives declined comment, but one executive told the newspaper the network was disappointed.
