RECENT NEWS REPORTS HAVE DISPUTED THE U-S MILITARY'S ACCOUNT OF THE ARMY PRIVATE'S APRIL FIRST RESCUE FROM AN IRAQI HOSPITAL. HOSPITAL STAFFERS HAVE SAID THE U-S COMMANDOS WHO CAME FOR LYNCH REFUSED A KEY AND BROKE DOWN DOORS, EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO RESISTANCE. LYNCH'S FATHER GREG TOLD REPORTERS AT THE FAMILY'S WEST VIRGINIA HOME TODAY THAT THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO TALK ABOUT THE SUBJECT, ADDING IT'S AN "ONGOING INVESTIGATION." BUT HE LATER SAID NO ONE TOLD THEM THEY COULDN'T TALK ABOUT IT. HE SAYS THEIR MAIN CONCERN IS TO -- QUOTE -- "GET JESSI IN GOOD HEALTH." THE LYNCHES HELD A NEWS CONFERENCE TO THANK VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE BUILDING AN ADDITION TO THEIR HOUSE TO ACCOMMODATE THEIR DAUGHTER WHEN SHE COMES HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL. THEY SAY SHE'S IMPROVING -- BUT HAS A "LONG ROAD" AHEAD TO FULL RECOVERY.
