Frederick Berlin: "I don't know of any evidence that pedophilia is any more prevalent in the Catholic church than any other sector of society; I don't know of any evidence that child sexual abuse is higher within the church than any other segments of society; recently we focused on the church... Its important to step back and realize that there have been comparable problems in Boy Scouts of America, for example. Also, Big Brothers organization has had to take precautions because its concerned about this issue..."
